Delta at Dusk is an annual event that melds three of life’s greatest ecstasies; music, food and fashion.
Ticket includes entertainment, food and seating with drinks available for purchase.
Join us for Storychords with Clea, Kate Martin and Dan Baker. What are Storychords you ask, stories shared through song of course. From ticking clocks in quiet bedrooms to losing love in blackened backwaters have you ever wondered what inspires a song and how it is constructed? We’d sure like to know… so have invited a chorus of celebrated Australian musicians to join us at our inaugural Delta at Dusk.
Feature Artist: Singer-songwriter Clea (say it like Clay) will allure with her captivating performance, velvety voice and ethereal tone. Her music is, as she describes, a collection of moments, a living-breathing document of life’s rich pageant. Having toured around the country with King Princes, DMAS and Holy Holy we are excited to have her here in the Delta.
Supporting Artists: Clea will be joined earlier in the evening by North Queensland locals Dan Baker and Winifred (Kate Martin). Dan’s eloquent lyrics are brought to life by his commanding vocals and gripping folk-roots melodies. Songwriter and producer Kate Martin is renowned for hushed rooms, commanding attention with her captivating style. Her wealth of studio and collaborative experience and incredible songwriting ability is something truly statement and not to be missed.
Neighbourhood Productions, creators and organisers of Neighbourhood Sessions and Neck of the Woods, will be onboard for sound and lighting.
Food + Drinks: This cocktail-style event will be complete with a feast that will keep you going back for more. Fill your plates with Asian delights such as pecking duck, dumplings, bao buns, yakitori skewers and more. Or perhaps the Tex Mex spread of slow-cooked ribs, chilli con carne, buttermilk fried chicken, jalapeno poppers and polenta chips gets you going. We’re confident there will be something to suit your tastes at our interactive food station with chefs on hand, provided by Michels catering.
Beer, wine, cider and an array of gin will be available for purchase along with non-alcoholic drinks. Sweet tooth? Treat yourself to a homemade Sicilian dessert made by Vintage Rose Events; cannoli, peach blossoms and more.
Tickets: $80pp for adults which includes food with limited tickets available, pre-purchase only. No tickets will be sold at the door.
